Library hours: 7:00 am - 4:30pm (academic school year)

Remote online access to MVHS Library Collection and Databases: Students can access the school library catalog (Destiny), the Gale eBook collection and World Book & Gale Online Databases, off campus. To do so, click on the link below: 

MVHS Library Catalog

Students need their student number and password to access the library catalog. To utilize this tool, students can click on the Gale Database or World Book link on the Destiny home page screen. Databases connect automatically while on campus, but if using remotely, students can use the username and passwords written next to the database links. 

Library Collection: 
The Library houses approximately 17,500 books. The circulating collection consists of Fiction, Non-Fiction, a Spanish language collection, a French section, the Story Collection, oversized books, graphic novels, newspapers and periodicals. Staff and faculty have access to DVDs, VHS tapes, audio visual equipment, teacher resources and a professional collection. 

Non-circulating items are reference books and the schools special collection of MVHS yearbooks and scrapbooks.There are 20 student use computers available with Internet access, word processing capabilities, a printer and a photocopy machine available for student use.
